Andrea Romero Bretón is a natural leader and a young woman from Barranquilla (Colombia) whose life has been marked by the conviction that faith and leadership can generate real change. Though young, her trajectory is defined by an experience that transformed her path toward social service.
The Gesture that Moved the Nation: In 2021, amidst the Social Outburst in Colombia, Andrea rose to public prominence by carrying out a symbolic act of peace: she entered the Casa de Nariño (Presidential Palace) and gave a stone to the then-president Iván Duque. This act, which trended digitally, symbolized the “constructive force” of Christian youth, contrasting with the violence occurring on the streets.
The Birth of INSPIRART: Driven by this constructive vision and by overcoming bullying in her childhood, Andrea decided to channel her voice into action, understanding that her challenge did not define her but determined her mission to inspire. This transformative experience was the seed that gave rise to her social project: INSPIRART.
